Hi! My name is Tyanna and I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. My professional background includes extensive experience working with individuals across all age groups, with a primary focus on women, young adults, and older adults. I’ve had the privilege of supporting clients through a range of challenges, including social anxiety, separation anxiety, depression, and adjustment issues following major life changes such as parental separation or divorce.
In my work, I prioritize Cultural Humility and Competence, ensuring my approach is both respectful and inclusive of diverse identities and backgrounds. I’ve had the opportunity to work with clients from the LGBTQIA2S+ community, individuals of color, and people from various religious traditions. This dedication allows me to create a therapeutic environment that recognizes and values each client’s unique experience.
I use a variety of therapeutic approaches tailored to your individual needs. My practice incorporates Gestalt methods, such as the empty chair technique, to help process present-moment experiences and heal from past challenges. I also apply person-centered therapy to foster a safe and empathetic space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings. My sessions may include art, play, and sand tray techniques—offering creative and engaging ways to work through your concerns.
I am passionate about supporting you as you navigate life’s journey. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, trauma, or identity-based issues, I’m here to help you identify and build on your strengths. I’m excited to collaborate with you, dive into insightful conversations, and guide you toward positive change. Together, we can embark on a transformative journey, and I look forward to seeing the progress we’ll make
