Julia Marino, MA, AMFT #144017

Julia earned her Master’s degree in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies, with a focus on Spiritual Emergence, and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Human Development from the University of California, Santa Cruz.

As a therapist, Julia is dedicated to helping individuals connect with their truest, most authentic selves. She works collaboratively with clients to integrate challenging past experiences, disrupt unhelpful patterns, and release limiting beliefs that may hinder their relationships, careers, or creative self-expression.

Julia’s therapeutic approach combines somatic and energetic perspectives, encouraging clients to tune into their bodies and access their intuitive wisdom. She also incorporates Depth and Transpersonal modalities, allowing clients’ unconscious minds to express themselves and uncover a deeper sense of alignment and purpose. To complement this, she provides practical, evidence-based tools such as CBT to help clients manage symptoms effectively and create meaningful, immediate change in their lives.

Known for her warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth style, Julia fosters an open and accepting space where clients can bring their full selves to each session. No topic is off-limits or “too out there.”

Julia works with adults and teens on a variety of issues, including:

  • Relationship and family challenges
  • Trauma
  • Life transitions and feeling “stuck”
  • Anxiety
  • Insomnia

She also specializes in:

  • Spiritual awakening
  • Energy sensitivity
  • Psychedelic integration

Outside of her work, Julia enjoys dance and vocal improvisation, valuing the arts as a deeply spiritual and rewarding part of life. Her extensive solo travels around the world have broadened her understanding of cultural diversity, making her fiercely open-minded and welcoming to individuals of all cultural backgrounds, genders, races, and sexual orientations.

Julia believes that everyone is worthy of living a fulfilling, authentic life and considers it an honor to support her clients on their journey toward healing, self-discovery, and growth.
