A compassionate and dedicated Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) India is committed to creating lasting change through empowering individuals, couples, and families to achieve their personal and relational goals. With a Master’s in Counseling from the University of Holy Cross, India employs a range of research-informed techniques to support her clients in overcoming challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and more. India's therapeutic approach is centered on inclusivity, ensuring that every person is heard, understood, and supported utilizing talk therapy and building mindfulness skills with clients. She is particularly passionate about working with marginalized communities, including LGBTQ+ individuals, and is deeply invested in providing culturally competent and trauma-informed care.

In her practice, India manages a caseload of 30 clients weekly, working collaboratively with medical and psychiatric teams to provide integrated care to support treatment planning. She has experience in crisis counseling, suicide risk assessment, and case management, as well as working in environments that require coordination with multiple treatment and legal agencies.

India's previous work includes providing therapeutic services at Thomas E. Chamber’s Counseling Center and Catholic Charities Counseling Center, where she demonstrated her ability to adapt treatment plans and apply a variety of therapeutic modalities to meet client needs. Additionally, her experience at Butterfly Effects ABA Therapy Center highlights her skill in working with children, particularly those with autism, to implement behavior intervention strategies.

Above all, India’s goal is to contribute to a safer and more inclusive world where individuals and families thrive. She strives to make a meaningful impact through her clinical work and by continuously advancing her own knowledge and practice in the field.
