Debbie collaborates with clients to create plans that meet their goals and is eager to help them thrive through positive change, growth, and healing.

For two years Debbie has worked as a grief and bereavement counselor companioning those who are grieving the loss of a loved one. She has worked for the Ventura County school system, where she has counseled youth and adolescents, providing support and assistance with academic planning, coping skills, mindfulness, and interpersonal difficulties.

Much of her work has been with clients struggling with grief, life transitions, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and interpersonal conflicts. Debbie welcomes each client with compassionate curiosity, active listening, empathetic understanding, and a nonjudgmental presence. She believes that combining safety and authenticity with a strengths-based, client-centered approach creates a strong foundation for the therapeutic process and the achievement of
collaborative goals.
