Clara is an Associate Marriage Family Therapist who grew up in New York and Los Angeles and received her Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. Having been in the field of psychology for over a decade, Clara is passionate about helping individuals develop mental wellness, resilience, awareness, and self-sufficiency in this often-challenging journey of life. Primarily, Clara works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Clara specializes in working with depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, relationships, suicidal thoughts, career and school issues, stress, coping skills, and more.
Clara is also trained as an EMDR therapist (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and believes that EMDR is a powerful tool for healing trauma and negative beliefs. The focus of Clara's practice is working collaboratively and holistically with clients to help identify challenges, explore strengths, and find empowerment. In addition, Clara prioritizes a judgment-free space where clients can find acceptance, feel understood, and be seen exactly as they are.
