Amy Allen AMFT, APCC
Supervised by Abeer Otherman LMFT #51401
My role as a therapist is to create space for high-performing individuals, couples, and teens to increase awareness of the ways you feel stuck and take a deep dive into new emotional territory.
Influenced by years of training in trauma-informed treatment, EMDR, and Dynamic Emotionally Focused Therapy (DEFT), we work to bring attention to emotional malnourishment, finding alternatives to insecurities, self-doubt, apathy, anxiety, and other self-defeating and limiting beliefs. We may also uncover hidden truths through art processing and creative expression prompts.
The heartbeat of our sessions is to encourage genuine expression through co-creating a secure and open therapeutic alliance, influencing your confidence and positive beliefs in interpersonal relationships.
